Toondulya
You have to see Toodulyas to understand how wild and Leunigesque they look - tall slim waving branches. I find them captivating. This stunning specimen was only identified in 1981. There is so much work to still be done in finding, identifying and protecting our native species.
Winter time is wattle time and they burst with joy. I have just planted three in my front garden and wait in anticipation of beauty.
Acacia toondulya (Toondulya Wattle) Rare. Found in a restricted area in the Eyre Peninsula.
