My painting “Frida” was inspired by the Frida Kahlo exhibition in Bendigo and captures the vibrant spirit and emotion that her work evokes. I used bold outlines, playful geometric patterns, and a lively mix of teal, yellow, coral, and navy to create energy and movement. The two patterned vases overflowing with sunflowers and abstract floral shapes symbolise life, resilience, and creativity. The underpainting colour and shapes add to the details of the vase and flowers. FRIDA is acrylic paint on framed canvas. 1200x900
