Electric Trees

This is a response to the creeping urbanisation of nature and the weird effects that artificial light has on city trees and streams. It's another dystopian view of the future where nature retains its beauty and energy despite the encroaching cityscape. It's actually a view of the Goulburn River near Kialla in Victoria where the town meets the river. It's a 35cmx28cm oil on gesso board. Currently it's in a home-made frame.
