Silver grey leaved mallee trees make beautiful ornamentals. The lemon yellow gum blossoms are prolific and draw a mass of busy bees. You can see this in bloom now in the mallee display garden at the Goodman Gate of the Adelaide Botanic Garden. I've just planted one - can't wait.
