Cool Burst

Sometimes a walk in the bush on a warm summer evening delivers a shiver up your spine. This glorious Great Egret rose from a billabong to smash a cool white burst through the trees under the blue and red sky.
This is an oil painting on a 40.5cmx30.5cm gesso board. At the moment it is unframed, but the right frame would make it sing. It's a one-off, so no prints.
